The Cutler Majestic Theatre does not close for inclement weather, and does not give refunds or exchanges to those unable to attend an event because of the weather.

The Cutler Majestic Theatre does everything in its power to remain open for all performances. In 20 years it has closed only once, in October 1996. Event producers recognize that hardy Boston theater-lovers wish to attend regardless of the weather. Therefore "the show must go on" and it does. Most events at the Majestic include artists who have traveled from around the world just for a handful of performances. They are rare treats for Boston, and are generally impossible to reschedule.

When the performance occurs the "No Refunds or Exchanges" policy stated at the time of sale, printed on the ticket, and printed elsewhere on this website remains in full effect.

Occasionally the event producer will make special offers to Boston theater-lovers related to inclement weather or other factors. Those offers will be posted on http://maj.org with a link from the home page within 10 days of the effected events.
