Carol’s humor, voice and shows have earned her much acclaim and awards over the years, but the ultimate praise came from comedienne Joan Rivers with whom she shared a bill at the North Shore Music Theatre in 1991.  After her set, Joan exclaimed, "[Carol is] the best singer in her price range!"

Carolyn Rogers

Carolyn started performing at the age of six for her next door neighbor’s tea parties, singing along to her treasured soundtrack to "The Sound of Music."  With guitar in hand, she covered the college coffeehouse circuit in the early 80’s with a folk rock group, The Park Street Singers.  A move to Connecticut led to over 10 years as the featured “girl singer” with the John Oblon Orchestra and Strictly Swing, both 18 piece big bands.  During this time, she also toured a program of acoustic music that included oldies, standards, and original compositions.  She has brought her cabaret stylings to Massachusetts on numerous occasions, including "Believe In Music," a benefit show produced by John Beresford, and a memorable benefit at the Ritz Carlton for the Boston Dance Company.
