The John Beresford Foundation
was established and funded in 2006 by friends and business associates of
John’s to honor his very personal contributions to the communities he moved
within as an artist and community activist, as well as his innate ability
to identify and nurture young, talented artisans.
To honor John, the Foundation
uses funds not only to assist neighborhoods in using their urban park lands
as tools for change, but also to support and fund arts programs and scholarships
for young people where such opportunity otherwise was missing. |
