One of Spain’s most respected and enduring companies, Compañía Andaluza de Danza makes its Boston debut with 18 dancers and five musicians.  The company will present two magnificent traditional choreographed pieces: "Leyenda," director Jose Antonio’s homage to Carmen Amaya to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her death, and Antonio Gades’s "Blood Wedding," based by on the play by Lorca and considered to be one of the masterpieces in the history of flamenco.
