Blending classical music with classic rock, Handel's Messiah Rocks examines powerful themes of faith, love and peace and breathes new life into Handel’s most performed oratorio.
This performance features vocalists MiG Ayesa who is currently performing in London’s West End in Queen: A Rock and Symphonic Spectacular and was a finalist on CBS’ ROCKSTAR:INXS; Tony Award winner La Chanze who won for her role as Celie in the original Broadway cast of The Color Purple; J. Robert Spencer who played Nick Massi in the original Broadway cast of Jersey Boys; and Keith Lockhart and members of The Boston Pops with the University Choir of the University of Massachusetts at Lowell directed by Murray Kidd.
