Brandeis VoiceMale

VoiceMale is Brandeis University's premier all-male a cappella group. Founded in 1994, VoiceMale annually travels coast-to-coast performing an eclectic mix of rock, pop, jazz, R&B, and oldies.  In their twelve year history VoiceMale has been widely heralded as one of the best colliegate groups in the greater Boston area.  They perform regularly at colleges, high schools, and a variety of private functions. 

Following the release of "Propeller," winner of three 2004 CARA’s and opening track of BOCA 2004 (‘Let Me Entertain You’), Brandeis University’s VoiceMale recently released its fifth studio album, "Ain’t Done Overnight."  Songs from the new album have already been selected for the B.O.C.A. 2007 and Sing! 3 compilation CDs. 

U-MASS Amherst Doo-Wop Shop

The Doo-Wop Shop is an all male a cappella group that originates from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The Shop began in 1993 when a guy wanted to sing to a girl he had a crush on at Stop & Shop. He pulled some of his singing friends together, learned an arrangement of "My Girl", and the Doo-Wop Shop was born. 

All members past and present have been or currently are students at the University. Today, it consists of Ian, Jimmy, Dave, Andrew, Keais, Mikey, Mike and Geoff, and though they come from a variety of backgrounds, each are united by a mutual love for music.

Over the past decade and a half, the Shop has actually strayed from its origins in doo-wop, and has formed into a contemporary collegiate a cappella group with a drive to perform with a unique blend of music and fun. They have recently performed with such professional groups as The House Jacks, Firedrill!, and Moosebutter and hope to add to their growing list. Their repertoire is an eclectic mix of many genres which they perform for high schools, private parties and at shows around campus. The Logarhythms

The Logarhythms are MIT's premiere all-male a cappella group. Since 1949 the Logs have entertained audiences around the world with their unique mix of harmony and humor.  The Logarhythms are one of the nation’s oldest a cappella performance groups.  The group has earned songs on the Best of College A Cappella compilation albums from 2003, 2004, and 2005, and their most recent album, "Soundproof," received unprecedented high scores for a collegiate a cappella album in its review by the Recorded A Cappella Review Board (RARB). 

The Logarhythms deliver high-energy performances packed with tight musical harmony and lots of laughs. Their repertoire includes modern pop, hip hop, classic rock and barbershop tunes, and also features hilarious comic skits.
