after her first chart topper, “Don’t Make Me Over” in December,
1962. A collector’s edition of her early recordings, newly remastered
onto 10 CDs, was released May 15, 2007.

she recently recorded “Family First” with her family, Cissy
Houston and Whitney Houston. The soundtrack, which hit
stores on January 18, 2007, also features performances from Brian McKnight,
