Les Folies Russes is a bit like a Russian Riverdance, combining virtuoso dancing, stunning visual effects, and the joyous music we grew up loving.  Its roots in Gypsy and Celtic tradition tease out our cultural memories. 

The evening features 20 brilliant show-stopping numbers and close to 1000 spectacular costumes complete with fabulous feathers and furs, and a cascade of colorful jewels and gemstones created in the sewing workshops of the Bolshoi Theatre.  National Artist of Russia Vladimir Zakharov is artistic director and principal choreographer.  The dancers are first class ballet stars in the impeccable Russian style.
